Entertainment Week Africa (EWA) 2026 is a pan-African creative economy platform taking place in Lagos from 17 to 22 November 2026, marking its fifth anniversary under the theme “Closing the Gap.” Produced by Livespot, the event brings together creatives, filmmakers, musicians, entrepreneurs, investors, executives, brands, policymakers and industry leaders to explore opportunities, partnerships, funding, distribution and growth across Africa’s entertainment and creative industries.
Its seven core tracks cover Music, Film & TV, Fashion & Beauty, AI & Tech, Art & Animation, Live Events & Production, and Creative Enterprise, with programming spanning summits, masterclasses, screenings, showcases, workshops, creative labs, markets and investor-focused deal rooms.
Signature experiences include the Runway Coterie, Jokes ’n’ Jollof, EWA Impact Awards, Turn Up Lagos, Livespot X Festival and film premieres, alongside initiatives such as the EWA Content Market and Deal Room, designed to connect African creative businesses with capital and commercial opportunities.
The 2026 edition also expands the platform’s continental reach, with participation targeted from more than 18 African countries, building on the first four editions’ reported cumulative attendance of over 67,800 people.
